We wanted to update everyone as to the progress the practice is making in preparation for our eventual permission to re-open.
Since lock down we have been open by appointment only for essential and emergency eye care and we anticipate this to continue for the coming weeks. We are expecting a phased return to normal practice activity as soon as it's safely possible. We continue to follow the best practice advice of NHS England, The College of Optometrists, the Association of Optometrists and the General Optical Council.
We have already taken steps to provide a safe environment for our patients when they attend our practice including a hand sanitising station on arrival, restricting the number of patients and staff in practice at any one time, barriers to support social distancing, cleaning and hygiene procedures in place and the correct PPE to be worn as appropriate by fully trained members of staff.
It is still unclear when it will become safe to resume routine appointments so you will not be able to book these at the moment, however should you be having a problem or there is anything you would like to discuss then please contact us by email or on our normal phone number and we will do our utmost to help and advise you.
Please be assured that we will continue to provide you with the service and care you have become accustomed to receiving in a safe environment in the future.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this crisis. Please follow us on social media to keep up to date with the latest information.
